February 17 marked the start of the 2026 Chinese Lunar New Year, celebrating the year of the Fire Horse, the 7th animal in the Chinese Zodiac. Traditionally, the Fire Horse year has the characteristics of being full of strong passion, enthusiasm, and dynamic leadership. 

由於暴風雪來襲，停學了一天，小蓮花學校在寒假結束後舉辦了一年一度的「文化才藝展示會」。

Due to a snow day, Little Lotus Academy joyfully held its annual Culture & Talent Showcase after winter break, turning the event into a warm and festive celebration of learning, virtue, and community.

In mid December, students from Grades 2–5 brought holiday cheer to the New Century community in Deerpark with a special choral performance.

During November, not only did Little Lotus Academy students learn about gratitude, but they also experienced the beauty bestowed upon all beings by the Creator.
