Summer School
The sweltering summer heat couldn’t dampen the children’s excitement as they joined the Little Lotus Summer School. Over the last four weeks, 33 young disciples from different regions participated in our program.
This month, our campus has been filled with smiles and laughter. Diligent in studying the Fa and practicing the exercises, these young Dafa disciples, who constantly strive to learn and cultivate together, are truly adorable! They learn about traditional Chinese culture, go on outings, participate in group activities, and share lunch and delicious snacks. The children have enthusiastically engaged in arts and crafts, dance, the tea ceremony, sports, Chinese calligraphy, and traditional Chinese painting classes, and have participated in skits. The children at the summer camp are growing up healthy under the sun and are sure to have a happy, refreshing summer!
Please join us for the fun of our eagerly anticipated final week, Chinese Culture Week. Specially invited nationally certified teachers from Taiwan will lead the children in experiencing a wide variety of Chinese cultural activities. The program includes traditional martial arts, folk dance, arts and crafts, and many other exciting activities, allowing children to learn about Chinese culture in a fun and engaging atmosphere. If you are interested, please register your child as soon as possible.
On the final day of the event, the children will also present a showcase of what they have learned. We sincerely look forward to their wonderful performances and to the support of parents in attendance.

Teachers’ Professional Development
As our summer school comes to an end, our teachers are preparing for the new school year. This week, our teachers have begun to meet to draft and revise curriculum plans for the upcoming year. At the beginning of August, our teachers will be attending a two-day international Professional Development Conference on Education. This event will be a wonderful opportunity for our teachers to share and learn with other instructors in various educational initiatives. There will be discussions and panels on different aspects of education in a Dafa school. During the week before school begins, our teachers will be meeting onsite to finalize details and prepare their classrooms. We’re all looking forward to our students returning and welcoming our new families.

New School Year
To meet the needs of the community, the 2026-2027 school year will begin earlier than previous years. The school year will start in mid-August and end at the end of May. Please see the school calendar for more details. You may also add it to your Google Calendar account. As the calendar does not align with the local school districts, bus services may not be available. If your child requires assistance with the school commute, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

Falun Dafa Exercises
In the mire of this troubled world, there is a group of children who practice the exercises with their teacher every day; they are the young Dafa disciples at the Little Lotus Summer School. The five sets of exercises are simple and easy to learn so that the children can practice them with ease, without any complicated movements.
